Description
This rare table lamp was designed by Börne Augustsson and produced by Åseda Glasbruk in Sweden in the 1940s. The charming, small base is made of thick, deep green art glass. The surface is gently undulating, with softly rounded dimples of different sizes that catch the light and give the glass real depth. A polished, silver toned metal fitting sits on top of the base. The empire shaped shade is a custom design in ivory Colefax & Fowler silk and fits with a clip on fitting. The thick glass, varied dimples and rich green color give the lamp the material richness of Swedish Modern glass design.
The lamp is in very good overall condition and has a renewed shade. It is wired for 220 V and takes an E27 bulb.
Specified dimensions:

Height of the base only (excluding shade): 20 cm / 7.9 in
