This rare table lamp was produced by Falkenbergs Belysning in Sweden in the 1950s. The base is composed of three hand-blown glass spheres, each meticulously crafted with vertical ribbing and fine stippled texture that creates a dynamic interplay of light, shadow, and reflection. A subtle equatorial join accentuates their geometry while preserving the soft, organic clarity of the glass.
Separating each sphere is a solid rosewood spacer, warm in tone and richly grained. These wooden elements add structural rhythm and visual contrast, punctuating the cool transparency of the glass with natural warmth. The lamp rests on a substantial textured glass base that echoes the same radial striations and delicate surface pattern found on the spheres.
The drum-shaped shade has been renewed in a smooth ivory fabric. The lamp is in very good condition, with updated shade and fully functional wiring. It is currently fitted with 220V European wiring and takes a standard E26/E27 bulb.
