Description
This exceptional table lamp was designed by Harald Notini in the mid 1920s and produced by Arvid Böhlmark’s Lampfabrik in Sweden. The lamp is model 6834 and is pictured in Böhlmark’s 1926 catalogue.
The lamp is executed with a hand-hammered copper base and stem, displaying Notini’s characteristic attention to material and form. The gently twisted stem rises from a flared circular base, showcasing the warm patina and subtle surface texture of the hammered copper. The tapered shade is a custom design in a beautifully textured ivory Métaphores fabric.
The lamp is in good, original condition with a natural patina on the copper and some minor signs of wear consistent with age and use. Renewed 220V wiring and a renewed shade.
