Description
A beautiful white and green vintage floor lamp made by IKEA in the 1970s. The lamp features a white plastic stem with a beautiful retro design, paired together with a lime green fabric shade. The lamp will fit perfectly in modern and retro interiors as well as space age and more energetic vintage ones. The item is in good original condition with a manufacturers stamp on the bottom. Vintage pieces as this one by IKEA are getting more and more sought after, as they become harder and harder to find.
IKEA, founded in 1943 by Ingvar Kamprad in Sweden, has grown from a small mail-order furniture business into one of the world's leading retail giants. The name IKEA is derived from the initials of Kamprad, his family's farm Elmtaryd, and the nearby village Agunnaryd. Initially focused on selling small items such as pens and wallets, IKEA introduced furniture in its catalog in 1948. The company revolutionized the furniture industry with its flat-pack design, allowing customers to easily transport and assemble their purchases at home. Known for its modern designs and commitment to affordability, sustainability, and functionality, IKEA has expanded globally, with stores in numerous countries. The brand is synonymous with innovative solutions for small spaces and has become a staple for families seeking stylish yet budget-friendly home furnishings. -
