Description
This rare table lamp was designed by Jette Hellerøe and produced by Axella Keramik in Denmark in the 1960s. The base is impressed with the designer’s name, the Axella logo, and the model number 811.
The lamp features a stoneware base with a tall neck and rounded body. The carved pattern on the spherical section gives the piece a strong texture and adds depth to the surface. Finished in earthy shades of beige, brown, and charcoal, the glaze has a nuanced, layered appearance that highlights the artisanal character of the piece. The elongated shape gives the lamp a balanced and elegant silhouette. The slightly tapered shade is a new custom design executed in an ivory Métaphores fabric.
The lamp is in very good condition with a renewed shade and renewed European 220V wiring and a regular E26/E27 bulb fitting. The shade is included in the price, should you not need the shade, please contact us for adjusted item and shipping pricing.

Height of the base only (excluding shade): 38.5 cm / 15.16 in
