Description
This rare table lamp was designed by Kai Krebs and produced in his pottery in Tungelsta, Sweden, in the 1960s. The piece is signed "Kai K." on the interior side of the base.
The design is characterized by an organic, bulbous-shaped earthenware base. The earthenware has a textured finish with various shades of brown forming an abstract striped pattern. The cone-shaped lampshade is made of linen-textured fabric, its neutral tone complementing the base's color.
The lamp is in very good condition, with a renewed shade, wiring, and bulb fitting. It is currently equipped with a 220V European plug and a standard E26/E27 light fitting.
