Lumica Vintage Hollywood Regency Table Lamp, 1970

This elegant table lamp comes from the renowned Spanish lighting manufacturer Lumica (BD Lumica) from Barcelona, which gained international recognition in the 1970s for its high-quality brass and lacquer work.

The cuboid lamp base captivates with an elaborate striped decor inspired by Art Deco: high-gloss black lacquered surfaces alternate with satin and polished brass, framed by fine gold-colored decorative strips. The characteristic, upward-tapering T-shape in brass on each side of the base gives the lamp its unmistakable, sculptural silhouette and makes it a true statement piece in the style of elegant 1970s interiors. The matching square lampshade in black with a light interior emphasizes the clear, architectural lines of the base and at the same time provides a warm, atmospheric light.

The lamp has three E27 sockets and can be switched in three steps via a pull switch, allowing one, two or three bulbs to be activated. It is in excellent condition with only minimal signs of age and use and is fully functional.

Lumica Barcelona was known for a glamorous and high-quality style, also associated with the name of the Italian-French designer Willy Rizzo, who created numerous iconic designs for the house, and whose design language is clearly reflected in the striking geometric design of this lamp.
