Description
Exquisite model 1933 pendant ceiling light designed by Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte, Italy, circa 1961. The fixture features double lens-cut plates of thick profiled polished glass with sandblasted glass centers suspended from a brass structure with original canopy and custom ceiling plate. The interplay of clear and frosted glass creates a beautifully diffused illumination characteristic of Ingrand’s sophisticated modernist aesthetic. This iconic Max Ingrand pendant light is incredibly chic and timeless. Although simple in form, it's an fine example of of the innovative design and impeccable craftsmanship of the artisan glass company Fontana Arte under the artistic direction of Max Ingrand.
Recently rewired to U.S. standards including UL listing and custom ceiling plate. Overall drop is adjustable by lengthening or shortening the stem. -
