Description
A pair of monumental floor lamps depicting two standing angels. Each hand-carved figure is finished in traditional polychrome, holding a tall staff that supports a multi-tier Gothic Revival brass chandelier. The fixtures feature ornate scrolling arms with foliate motifs and candle-form light sockets. Standing on octagonal bases, these pieces serve as both significant sculptural works and functional ambient light sources.

Period: 19th Century Materials: Hand-carved wood with polychrome paint and gilt finishes. Condition: Good. The carved figures show minor surface cracking, paint losses, and an aged patina consistent with 19th-century wood sculpture. Metal components show original gilding with light oxidation.
