Description
This striking table lamp was designed by Rigmor Nielsen and produced by Søholm Stentøj in Denmark in the 1960s. The lamp is signed with the designer’s initials “RN” and Søholm on the underside of the base.
The design features a tall, tapered ceramic base decorated with bold zigzag patterns in earthy tones of mustard yellow, deep red, and muted green. The textured, hand-painted finish gives it a warm, artisanal character. The elongated, cone-shaped white lampshade is a newly made custom design in smooth ivory fabric, providing a clean and neutral complement to the colorful base.
The lamp is in very good condition. It has been recently rewired with a European 220V plug and fitted with a new standard E26/E27 bulb holder. The lampshade has also been renewed.
