Description
Tommaso Barbi, an Italian designer renowned for his elegant and sculptural creations, brought a sense of nature into his work. Active during the 1970s and 80s, Barbi blended organic forms with luxurious materials, crafting pieces that stood out for their bold yet refined character. His designs continue to captivate collectors and design enthusiasts, reflecting a timeless appreciation for artistry and craftsmanship.
Design
This Tommaso Barbi floor lamp features three striking brass leaves mounted on gracefully curving stems. Each leaf is crafted from hammered brass, showcasing subtle texture and detail that adds dimension to the design. The stems rise from a rounded brass base, anchoring the composition while providing balance to the upward-reaching forms. Light filters through and reflects off the leaves, casting dynamic shadows and warm highlights that shift with the surroundings. The brass surface catches light beautifully, bringing life to every angle of the lamp.
A sculptural presence that elevates any interior, this lamp embodies Barbi's ability to transform natural motifs into statement pieces. It introduces a refined organic touch and stands as a lasting addition to any collection.
Condition
The condition of this lamp is very good with some minor superficial imperfections such as scratches or discolorations. -
