Description
This large Italian suspension lamp, model L 134, was produced by Vistosi in the 1960s. It is defined by a bold, bi-level architectural shade in a rare saturated blue Murano glass, which houses a spherical white diffuser to create a soft, even light distribution. Vistosi is distinguished for its collaboration with avant-garde designers to transform traditional Venetian glassmaking into modernist industrial forms. This piece remains a significant example of the geometric "Space Age" aesthetic that defined high-end Italian lighting of the era.
