Description
Pair of “Paris” table lamps designed and manufactured in the United States by Marian Jamieson. These sculptural modern lamps are executed in polished nickel with dramatic reflective spherical bodies resting on geometric square plinth bases, creating a refined balance between Mid-Century Modern glamour and contemporary luxury design.
The highly polished nickel surfaces produce a striking mirrored effect that enhances surrounding interiors while adding depth, light, and architectural presence. The elegant proportions, double-socket configuration, and tailored ivory silk pongee shades give the pair a sophisticated designer aesthetic ideal for upscale residential and hospitality interiors.
Acquired directly from Marian Jamieson as showroom floor samples, the lamps retain their original manufacturer labels to the underside. Their sculptural silhouette and luxurious metallic finish make them especially appealing for interior designers and collectors seeking statement lighting for modern, Hollywood Regency, Space Age Modern, Contemporary, Transitional, or minimalist interiors.
Perfect for flanking a sofa, anchoring a bedroom design, or elevating a luxury office or boutique hotel project, these lamps combine timeless form with strong decorative impact. The polished nickel finish beautifully reflects both natural and ambient light, allowing the pieces to integrate seamlessly into both warm and cool interior palettes.
The original ivory silk pongee shades are included and show visible wear and mild staining from showroom display use. The lamp bodies themselves remain in very good condition with only minimal wear consistent with age and handling.
A refined pair of collectible American designer lamps with strong sculptural presence and exceptional versatility for high-end interiors.
