Description
Add a touch of whimsical Mexican design to your table with this exceptional pair of Emilia Castillo for Los Castillo silver-plated serving utensils, handcrafted in Taxco, Mexico. Celebrated for her sculptural interpretations of nature and refined metalwork, Emilia Castillo created this elegant TA-01 serving set featuring stylized fish-form handles with intricately engraved lattice scales and cabochon-style inset eyes.
Designed as both functional serving pieces and collectible works of art, the set includes one solid serving spoon and one slotted salad server, making them ideal for serving salads, pasta, vegetables, fruit, or side dishes. Their graceful organic curves and polished silver-plated finish exemplify the playful sophistication that has made Castillo's work highly sought after by collectors of Mexican modernism and decorative arts.
Produced by the renowned Los Castillo workshop in Taxco—one of Mexico's most prestigious silversmithing houses—these utensils beautifully combine artisan craftsmanship with sculptural design. They are equally at home on an elegant dining table or displayed as decorative objects in a curated collection of Mexican silver.
The reverse of each utensil is stamped:
LOS CASTILLO
HECHO EN MÉXICO
PLATEADO
