Description
Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte, rectangular mirror, model 2014 with shelf. This elegant design features thick strips of light green crystal glass framing the original mirrored surface, secured by nickel-plated brass clip supports. Designed and produced in Italy in the 1960s, the piece embodies a refined modernist aesthetic, with the crystal glass creating the effect of a floating mirror with a delicate green hue.
As with all works by Max Ingrand, the composition highlights his masterful interplay of glass and light, achieving a striking refinement of form. A remarkable decorative piece by one of the most innovative designers and lighting masters of the 20th century.
The mirror and shelf are in good condition, with no chips on the glass frame. The original mirrored surface shows very light staining, consistent with the natural aging process. Some oxidation is present on the nickel-plated brass supports.
Dimensions: 80h × 58w × 6d cm
