Description
André Groult rare pair of Art Deco period exquisite bergères with curved ebonized and giltwood arms and attached elegantly carved giltwood tassels, France, 1920s. This exceptional model with the carved tassels is more elaborate and quite likely may have been custom made. These classic bergeres exemplify Art Deco luxury at its finest with its lovely organic curves, rich material and finishes, and timeless chic design. Fully restored and reupholstered in a sophisticated Pierre Frey panther print cotton.
