Description
This exceptionally rare armchair was designed by Giuseppe Amedeo Gori and produced by Lenzi in Italy in the late 1950s. The striking design is characterized by its high back, sculptural lines, and deep burnt orange/rust-colored fabric. The four black-lacquered metal legs with brass feet are set at an angle, creating a beautiful silhouette and a dynamic presence. The design is visually appealing from all angles, making it a great chair for central, freestanding placement in a room. Its generous proportions ensure great seating comfort.
The chair has been reupholstered in a braided, linen blend Pierre Frey fabric with a beautiful texture and slightly glossy finish. The interior upholstery has been completely restored and fully reconditioned. The chair is in overall very good condition, the metal legs with minor signs of wear and patina consistent with age and use. -
