Description
This floor lamp was produced by Nybro Armatur Fabrik in Sweden in the 1960s. It is marked with the manufacturer’s initials.
The lamp stands on a graphic three-legged teak tripod base, joined at the center by a brass collar. The teak stem rises from this base and features a further brass sleeve partway up, a decorative detail echoing the base. The clean lines and combination of teak and brass make this a fine example of Swedish Modern design. The shade has been renewed in a cream white fabric, offering a nice contrast to the warm tones of the wood.
The lamp is in very good condition. Currently wired with 220V wiring with an E27 bulb fitting. Renewed shade.
Specified dimensions:
Total height including shade: 145 cm / 57.1 in
Height of the base only (excluding shade): 121 cm / 47.6 in
Diameter of the shade: 40 cm / 15.7 in
Dimensions of the base: 50 x 44.5 cm / 19.7 x 17.5 in -
