Art Deco Dining Chairs by John Van Zeeland - 1930's
-
Description
Art Deco wooden dining chairs with a fabric seat and backrest, designed by Belgian architect John Van Zeeland in the 1930s. These chairs were part of the interior of a Belgian listed building, "Dokterswoning Prové". In addition to the heritage building itself, the original furniture is also very valuable today. These chairs feature exquisite woodworking, charismatic patina and a sturdy wooden frame. It's a clear design, focussing on form and material. The matching John Van Zeeland dining table is available in another listing. Together they make a striking dining room set. The dining chairs are in excellent original condition and are priced per piece.
