1950s Italian Sideboard in Exotic Wood with Oak Interior and Brass Detail

Description
Italian sideboard from the 1950s, attributed to Ico Parisi. Case in exotic hardwood with rounded edges and continuous grain; interior in natural oak with adjustable shelf. The piece stands on sculptural, A-frame side supports with tapered legs, joined to the case by recessed brass screws. Above the cabinet sits a shallow raised shelf supported by two uprights, creating a light, separated profile.
Front with two hinged doors; each door has an inset pull with a small brass backplate. Hardware and proportions reflect precise, high-level Italian cabinetmaking of the period. Finish in clear varnish that preserves the tone and figure of the woods. -
