Description
Biedermeier Expandable dining table in cherry veneer with ebony inlays from France around 1900.
Solid cherry wood round top, ebonized on the edge. Inlaid ebony has on the top of the legs and inlaid trim running along the apron.
4 extension leaves / inlay plates of 50 cm each in solid cherry wood and with frame. Square tapered square legs, extended at the bottom and with ebonized plates. In the middle there are two foldable extra legs for better stabilization if 2+ inlay plates are used.
Old pull-out mechanism in solid wood. Extendable in 5 different lengths. When fully extended (4 plates), the table offers seating for up to 12 people.
Restored condition, hand-polished with shellac.
