French Louis XVI-Style Oval Marble Top & Inlaid Coffee Table with Ormolu Mounts

Description
French Louis XVI style marquetry inlaid low table or coffee table of oval form. The top is inserted with marble surrounded by a wide inlaid border edged with ormolu. The wide frieze is beautifully patterned marquetry and the table is raised on modified quadrangular legs with rams head terminated in cloven hoof feet of bronze ormolu mounts.
