An unassuming Georgian oak lowboy with a row of three drawers on chamfered legs, English circa 1750. A lowboy is simply a dressing table or vanity which resembles the lower half of a highboy. Lowboys were often made as a mate to matching highboy or tall chest of drawers and usually made of English oak.
