Description
Italian magazine rack trolley in the style of Ico Parisi. This trolley is made of cherry wood and is strongly reminiscent of Ico Parisi in style and design. The highly stylized frame is made in a traditional manner and we see the tooth connections on the upper glass holders and a pin-in-hole connection on the lower glass holders. This is a typical fifties item with a flair and appearance that fits effortlessly into a film set. Despite its slender appearance, this trolley is very sturdy. Three brass tubes provide strength to the frame and are secured with brass screws. Two curved tubes that are also made of brass connect and add aesthetic value. Three crystal glass elements are clamped between the frame and the biggest one is wavy at the top. The glass, together with the heavily patinated cherry wood and brass details, make a pleasant combination. The trolley is in good condition and entirely consistent with age and use. The four wheels have rust spots on the covers and diffuse scratches and spots can be seen on the frame. "
