Description
An Elegant French Miid-Century Modern Neoclassical Desk in the style of Jean Michel Frank for Maison Jansen circa 1930. The writing table is a work combining exceptional design, timeless form, beautiful, natural materials and fine workmanship . It features exquisite X-form legs that are delicately channel carved. The finish of the wood is in cerused oak which allows the grain of the wood speak its pure, natural beauty. The piece is functional for contemporary use offering a large work and display surface and accommodating 3 deep drawers for storage. In addition, the drawers are dovetailed. A similar model was designed by Jean-Michel Frank for Maison Jansen in the 1930s. The desk is a custom piece and modifications of size and materials can be made to suit taste.
