Round stretcher-base table

Sold Sold
  • Description
Of charming proportions, this round table retains an old red painted surface. It was acquired by William K. du Pont at the April 7, 1990, sale of Sara B. Musselman, whose parents-in-law Clayton and Ada Musselman were pioneering antiques dealers based in the Ephrata area of Lancaster County. Their enormous inventory passed in 1946 to their only child, David M. Musselman, and was then inherited by his wife Sara B. Musselman. She dispersed the collection at auction over a period of years. This table was in the Musselmans’ collection since at least c. 1925 when it was photographed as part of their inventory.

Ex-collection Clayton and Ada Musselman to David and Sarah B. Musselman; William K. du Pont
