Description
A graceful Swedish antique tilt-top table dating to the late 19th century, showcasing the quiet charm and simplicity of rural Nordic design. Crafted from pine and painted in a soft, timeworn white, this round table features a classic tilt-top mechanism that remains fully functional and secure, allowing it to be effortlessly folded and stored upright when not in use.
The tabletop rests on a turned central pedestal supported by three delicately carved splayed legs, whose elegant form contrasts subtly with the rustic surface. Traces of wear to the paint reveal the gentle passage of time, lending the piece a soulful patina that cannot be replicated. With its light footprint and poetic presence, this tilt-top table offers both beauty and utility, ideal as a tea table, occasional table, or quiet accent in a serene interior.
This is an antique and having been around for a long time, it will show signs of wear. Antique pieces have very much sought-after character and associated flaws. Please review photos for condition & contact us with questions! -
