An exquisite sculptural floor lamp designed in 1959 by Max Ingrand for the Milanese glass and lighting company, Fontana Arte. Rising from a brass teardrop base, the double stem brass supports house the tapered opaline glass shade. The simplicity and elegance of this piece, along with the quality of the materials used, make this a fine and important example of midcentury Italian lighting design.
