Description
The revolutionary "Le Bambole" series was designed by the youthful Mario Bellini in 1972 and a celebrated piece of Italian design history awarded the Compasso d’Oro prize in 1979. This is an all-original leather lounge chair with peaked front arm end formed over a lightweight tubular frame. Manufactured by Piero Ambrogio Busnelli and Cesare Cassina’s C&B Italia (later B&B Italia). Labeled in fabric under chair. Great vintage condition. Dated 1982.
