Description
This rare table lamp was designed by Hans Bergström in the late 1940s. The lamp is marked at the bottom by the Swedish manufacturer ASEA Belysning and is also engraved with the model number E1149.
The elegant design is marked by the circular brass clad base with a white push switch. The tapered central stem is executed in fluted, stained beech wood which gives the lamp a refined appearance. The brass light fitting with a brass shade holder. The ivory color, linen textured shade has been renewed. The lamp offers a wonderful example of the originality of Hans Bergström and the craftsmanship of its maker ASEA.
