Description
This very rare table lamp was designed by Swedish designer Bertil Brisborg in the late 1940s. Produced by Nordiska Kompaniet, it is marked with the production number 9503 on the underside of the base.
The design is distinguished by its twin-arm body, crafted entirely in brass. Over time, the brass has developed a natural and beautiful patina. The circular base features a corrugated crown detail at its center. A slim, tubular brass stem extends upward, topped with a ring-shaped handle for ease of portability. The two tapered, clip-on lamp shades have been newly refreshed in a smooth ivory fabric.
The lamp is in good original condition with a natural patina on the brass. Minor signs of wear consistent with age and use. Renewed shades. Rewired to EU standards with a 220V European plug. -
