Classic palette with a rust madder field, navy indigo medallion and pendants with rigorous volute edging and ecru corners with angled navy vasiform elements and attendant angular volutes. Four flowers with full-face rosette blossoms. Navy border with pointed vinery arcading enclosing elaborated flowers. Well-woven village carpet on cotton. Compacted and closely shorn. Good condition. C. 1900-10.
