This elegant Directoire period chest of drawers, crafted in France in the 19th century, reflects the refined neoclassical aesthetic of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Constructed from richly grained mahogany with a warm, lustrous patina, it features clean architectural lines and restrained detailing typical of the Directoire style. The façade is fitted with two spacious drawers, each adorned with finely cast brass pulls and escutcheons, while subtle linear moldings frame the front and sides, adding depth and sophistication.
