Description
This early 20th C. off-white Italian porcelain swan cachepot has a smooth, glossy surface and a sculptural silhouette that works as a planter or decorative centerpiece. Its gentle curvature gives it a serene presence, making it suitable for flowers, greenery, or display on its own. Swan vessels have been produced in Italy since the early twentieth century, often inspired by neoclassical and Art Deco motifs that celebrated elegant animal forms. Porcelain examples were favored for their refined finish and durability, and they appeared in gardens, conservatories, and interiors as versatile decorative objects. Wear consistent with age and use. 13.5"w x 9.25"d x 10.5"h
