Description
This very rare table lamp was designed by Harald Notini in the late 1940s. This particular model was numbered 15484 and was produced by Arvid Böhlmarks Lampfabrik in Stockholm. The design is documented in the 1948 Böhlmarks catalogue.
The striking design consists of a circular elm wood base, covered with a slightly undulating brass cover. This is followed by a rounded triangular column in white lacquered wood and three curved brass arms with brass socket covers.
The three pleated clip-on lampshades have been renewed in a cream colored Pierre Frey silk.
The lamp is in very good condition with a natural patina and minor wear consistent with age and use. Renewed lamp shades. Currently wired with 220V wiring and fitted for regular E26/E27 light bulbs.
Specified dimensions:
Total height (including shade): 48 cm / 18.90 in
