A French Art Nouveau glazed ceramic gourd vase by Louis Majorelle and Keller & Guérin.

Majorelle created pieces inspired by nature, with fluid lines, graceful inlays of blossoms and branches, and harmonious custom-made hardware. The functional aspect of this gourd vase is subtly integrated into the naturalistic decoration. The handle takes the form of a tree branch and the beak of a leaf.
