A very elegant grand Murano Art glass vase by Afro Celotto, signed. This Italian organic work of Art of fine design is extensively worked with various difficult techniques and avventurina inclusions (copper in the glass) that gives a precious glow to the other colors: black, white, gray, brown, lime green, aqua blue and shades of blue in a crystal clear body. The decor is very sophisticated in its simplicity: expanded Murrine as sea shells are geometrically enclosed in panels bordered in contrasting black and colored stripes.
