Description
On offer for your consideration we have a stunning Italian art pottery vase made in 1935-1940.
The neoclassical form in decorated with 2 raised women and flower in white with gold detailing. The vase is made in a very unusual way in that the tan surface is stippled the gold serpentine are applied, not cast.
I had a piece similar to this one 40 years ago.
As you can see the form decoration and style is in keeping with most Gio Ponti ceramics. -
