Description
the impressive vessel with everted lip above an ovoid body flanked by double mask handles all over a splayed foot; painted overall with a female figure and putti in a landscape setting with a similar design on reverse; underglaze mark to undersize
Located in the Italian Riviera is Albisola, a small seaside village that has been making ceramics since the late 16th century. The signature style, Antico Savona, features the iconic blue and white finish with intricate designs inspired by local motifs, such as the sea and the surrounding nature. -
