Description
Alfred Renoleau French Palissy Majolica wall pocket which features a lobster and a crab on a basketweave ground. Colouration: yellow, grey, brown, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Alfred Renoleau pottery. Book reference, this actual example is illustrated in ,'Palissy Ware' by Marshall P. Katz and Robert Lehr, page 177, figure 238.
