Description
A fine pair of Hatcher black porcelain intaglios, depicting, respectively, Clotaire and Chilperic I, father and son, Kings of France. Each intaglio is individually cast from a collection of antique Parisian medallions. Manufactured and assembled in New Orleans by local artisans. Mounted on green hand-marbelized paper. Glazed, matted, and presented in matching silver-leafed shadowbox frames, also hand-made in New Orleans.
