Large 1960s Gino Sarfatti Metal and Seguso glass ceiling lamp for Arteluce. Comprised of a large hand blown bubbled Seguso glass and painted perforated metal. The simplicity of Sarfatti's design and the sculptural shaping of the materials make for an incredibly refined example of the lighting master's influential approach.
Arteluce was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Celebrated in his time and beyond as an undisputed master, Gino Sarfatti's designs have been long sought after by collectors worldwide.
Professionally modified for mounting over a standard American j-box for hardwiring. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.
