Description
This rare pair of table lamps was produced by Falkenbergs Belysning in Sweden during the 1950s. Each lamp is stamped with the model number 6422 and the manufacturer’s initials FLB on the underside of the base, along with the original manufacturer’s sticker. Pairs of this model are exceptionally hard to find.
The design features a brass construction with a leather-wrapped central stem, a tactile detail that lends the lamps a refined and sophisticated appearance. The brass shade has a gently flared profile with a slightly domed top, finished with a cylindrical finial. The lamps rest on a circular base and are operated via a pull cord light switch.
Both lamps are in very good original condition, with the brass and leather displaying a natural patina and minor wear consistent with age and use. -
