This exceptional table lamp was designed by Harald Notini in the late 1920s and produced by Arvid Böhlmark's Lampfabrik in Sweden. This rare model, numbered '6839', is documented in Böhlmarks' 1920s catalogue.
Executed entirely in hand-hammered copper, the lamp features a tapered barley twist stem, a flared disk base, and a palmate detail at the collar. The domed shade is topped with a decorative cap and crowned by a sculpted sphere finial. The original frame has been preserved, while the shade has been newly dressed in soft pink fabric with coordinating silk fringe.
This lamp, offered here, is especially rare as it retains its original shade frame, decorative cap, and sphere finial—features often missing from the few remaining examples.
The lamp is in overall good condition, with a beautiful, natural and even patina to the copper. Rewired to European standards and ready for use.
