Jacques Adnet faux bamboo tripod floor lamp wrapped in original black saddle-stitched leather, France, 1950s. This chic floor lamp comes with a white empire parchment paper shade.
This modernist floor lamp is a fine example of iconic French post-war Adnet design in which pieces of furniture, lighting and accessories were meticulously clad in saddle-stitched leather or skaï. Adnet’s style of modern furnishings exhibited the avant-garde design and impeccable craftsmanship of French midcentury design which still resonates today.
