Description
An original pair of '1937' model wall sconces designed by Max Ingrand for the prestigious Milanese company, Fontana Arte. Designed and produced in 1958, these beautiful wall lights each comprise of a black-painted metal frame with two large triangular glass plates secured with an upper and lower decorative brass brace. The thick-cut glass plates were produced using the Italian 'acidato' technique and are polish beveled along the outer edges. These applques are the larger, mid-size variant, each with four lamp holders and completely re-wired for use. A stunning example of the quality pieces being produced by Fontana Arte during this period.
