Pair of Italian Brass and Opaline Glass Wall Sconces, 1950s
-
Description
Pair of wall sconces made in Italy during the 1950s. Each lamp features a curved brass arm supporting an oval opaline glass diffuser, held in place by small blackened metal pins. The structure consists of a circular brass wall plate with visible fasteners and a bent brass element forming an open arc around the shade.
The glass diffusers emit a soft, diffused light when illuminated, highlighting the balance between geometry and material. The brass shows a uniform aged patina consistent with the period. Equipped with E14 sockets suitable for use in Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States. -
