Description
An exceptional "Tamsen" three-light chandelier by designer and artist Marian Jamieson, handcrafted in Los Angeles, California, and acquired directly from the artist’s studio. This sculptural lighting fixture exemplifies the refined balance of California modernism, American studio craftsmanship, and contemporary organic design.
Executed in solid brass with a naturally developed aged patina, the fixture retains the rich warmth and character only time can create. The brass shows beautiful tonal variation and irregularities consistent with age and studio craftsmanship, adding depth, authenticity, and collector appeal.
Suspended from three elegantly curved brass arms are hand-blown Shell White studio glass shades, each with a soft luminous presence that creates an inviting ambient glow. The asymmetrical composition gives the piece a strong architectural silhouette while maintaining visual lightness—making it ideal for entryways, dining rooms, kitchen islands, stair halls, luxury bedrooms, boutique hospitality projects, and curated interior design installations.
This example was a showroom floor sample and was acquired directly from Marian Jamieson, offering excellent provenance for collectors and design professionals.
A rare opportunity to acquire an authentic example of American studio lighting by one of Los Angeles’ respected contemporary lighting artists.
