A match made in heaven. Newly-gilt, chic frame meets antique mercury glass. The thin silver frame brings a new look to the world of antique mirrors. The silver gilt has been applied in a manner that gives it the appearance of age, so as to complement the antique plate glass. The mercury glass is flecked with fetching foxing. This loss of mercury backing does not affect the reflection, and gives the antique glass character and individuality.
