This set of four dining chairs was crafted in Brazil during the 1960s and features solid rosewood frames with clean, tapered lines typical of the period. The woven cane backrests add lightness and texture to the design, while the seats retain their original upholstery, offering a glimpse into the chairs’ authentic mid-century character.

Though the designer is unknown, the quality of the rosewood and the balanced proportions reflect the craftsmanship associated with Brazil’s modernist era. Comfortable and versatile, this set works well in both contemporary and vintage-inspired interiors, bringing warmth and understated elegance to any dining space.

Despite being overshadowed by the iconic designs of Joaquim Tenreiro, Carlo Hauner, Martin Eisler, Jorge Zalszupin and Sergio Rodrigues, these craftsmen and small manufacturers still managed to produce cutting-edge pieces that embodied the "modern values" of form and materiality.

Despite existing alongside their more famous counterparts, these high-quality pieces have often been overlooked or stifled by commercial interests.
